1116 SEN (ACMA callsign: 3AK), the acronym standing for Sports Entertainment Network, is a commercial AM radio station based in Melbourne, Australia, operating on 1116 kHz. It is currently owned and operated by Pacific Star Network Limited. ==History== SEN began in late January 2004 in a deal engineered by former 5AA General Manager, Danny Staffieri, leasing the 3AK frequency from Pacific Star Network Limited. In early 2005 SEN 1323 was launched in Adelaide simulcasting from SEN 1116 bar the Saturday morning show (Mark Aiston, Matthew Primus & Mark Bickley) & SANFL broadcasts. This ceased after SEN 1323 when into administration and was rebranded as Cruise 1323. In July 2015, the newsroom shared between SEN and sister station 3MP 1377 was closed, replaced with a service from Macquarie National News. In November 2015, it was announced that Francis Leach would depart ABC Grandstand Digital following the axing of the ''Grandstand Breakfast'' programme, and will again join SEN, hosting ''SEN Breakfast'' alongside David “The Ox” Schwarz to replace ''The Morning Glory''.
